I suffer from dramatic hair loss and my hair is very thin and is snapping at the ends?

Any tips on how to prevent hair loss, snapping, and thinnessI suffer from dramatic hair loss and my hair is very thin and is snapping at the ends?
Sounds like you need to go to a doctor. Stress is the number one cause of sudden and dramatic hair loss. You may have the beginning of Alopecia or a thyroid problem. Any sudden changes in your life..etc,etc,

If your doctor doesn't find anything wrong then you need to go to a dietitian. Get your body back in a healthy condition and that doesn't necessarily mean lose weight, just nerves and vitamins replenishment, etc.

Be good to yourself too. Go to a professional and they will pamper you and take care of you ...that is if you find me! Hahaha! No really, you need to let a stylist condition your hair. You may just be doing something that is causing this whole thing and they will be able to tell if so. Good luck.I suffer from dramatic hair loss and my hair is very thin and is snapping at the ends?

Take vitamin B (espcially b12) and 2-3 tables of Biotin (vitamin) each day. Results in 1-2 months as new hair grows.
Do you have any other symptoms such as dry skin, tiredness, weight gain, loss of eye brows? Sometimes these symptoms, as well as ';hair loss, snapping and thinness could be a thyroid problem. Because they happen slowly, and over a long peroid of time we don't always notice these symptoms as a problem.
condition it, but leave the conditioner in for about 2-3 mins for a while (2 to 3 weeks) and the vitamin idea isnt a bad way to go either.
Eat right, take your vitamins, condition hair very well and as much as you don't want to hear it, you must get it trimmed to avoid the snapping of the hair. A trim is much less painful.
