Postpartum hair loss is common. It can occur anywhere on the scalp.

Usually the shedding will taper off within 6 months and the normal growth cycle will resume within 9-12 months. For a small percentage of women the shedding is longer lasting and more excessive. In these instances, there are often other contibuting factors.

To avoid excessive hair loss after pregnancy, women must have extra nutritional support and adequate rest.

Scalp massages with healing oild can be very soothing and helpful for postpartum hair. For more information:http://ezinearticles.com/?Hair-Loss-Afte

During pregnancy your hair doesnt' fall out like you used to lose a little everyday. That is why your hair got more full during pregnancy. After pregnancy you begin to lose that hair that never came out. Everything is fine!
Stop - don't worry, it's normal. It will stop soon!
