Hair Loss During Pregnancy?

Hi,

I am about 6 weeks pregnant and

every time I comb or wash my hair

my hair falls off lots..more than when

I was not pregnant.

I heard a lot of women experience this

after giving birth, but not too many

seem to have hair loss during pregnancy.

I will see my doc on Fri so I will ask her about it

but has anyone had hair loss during pregnancy,

not after it?

I experienced this also! I was really scared that by the time I gave birth I would be bald. I was taking my vitamins and everything. I don't know what caused this but it stopped and my hair is fine I now only have 9 weeks to go. I still have bad dandruff but at least my hair is not falling out! Good Luck. I think it's just your body adjusting to pregnancy.

And Ladies why are you telling her that shes not taking her vitamins? How do you know that? Take it easy on her, shes here for help!Hair Loss During Pregnancy?
your body is going to go through many hormonal changes during the next 9 months.... this could be one of them, feel free to talk to your doctor about any concerns of course. One of my life savers for my 2 pregnancies was a pregnancy book ( browse online or at your local bookstore). they are a great investment since they often tell you about the little things or what to worry about. good luck with your pregnancy, and congratulations!
first congrats for pregnancy!its just coz' all yur body system has changed dear. once u start taking yur vitamins, u'll stop loosing yur hair. give a good warm almond oil massage %26amp; eat lots of nuts,veg,fruits. ';good luck';
Lack of vitamins.

You obviously do not take the necessary vitamins to feed your baby and yourself.

Talk to your doctor.
Hair loss can happen even during pregnancy due to the changes your body is going through. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.
It can happen during pregnancy yes, it's from the hormones. Everyone reacts differently.
it can be from hormones, stress or lack of vitamins. make sure you take those prenatals!
