Home remedies for hair loss, or thinning hair?

or weak or brittle hair. I have been taken vitamin E. I don't think it is working.

My scalp is also dry and very sensitive. I have tried all the dry scalp shampoos.

All advice welcome.

Please don't tell me to see my doctor because I currently have no medical insurance.Home remedies for hair loss, or thinning hair?
Try using the combination of vitamin E oil with coconut oil. Warm it up for half a minute. Apply it all over ur scalp and slowly work outwards.Keep it overnight. OR if u have time constraints try keeping it for a couple of hours. That should do it.Home remedies for hair loss, or thinning hair?

blend six drops each of lavender and bay essential oils in a base of four ounces of either almond, soybean or sesame oil massaged into the scalp and allowed to sit for 20 minutes has been used by aromatherapists to stimulate the scalp.

Once the mixture is in the scalp for 20 minutes, wash your hair and scalp with your normal shampoo mixed with three drops of bay essential oil. Massaging the scalp in general for a couple of minutes a day can stimulate blood flow to the hair follicles and in mild cases stimulate some hair growth.

Hope this helped
I have a friend who swears by olive oil.....

for dry scalp. Take a tablespoon or so (not a bottle full...LOL) and work it into the scalp, put on a heat cap for about 5 min. condition with a good name brand conditioner, right after...using the heat cap again, when another 5-10 mins pass, rinse thoroughly. As for the hair loss, I'm not sure. I'm told a healthier diet of fruits/veggies and protein are the key...it depends on what is causing it....it could be as simple as the abuse your hair is undergoing, such as using small combs, curling irons, etc. I switched to a large tooth comb, and I make sure I condition my hair with a good product at least once a week. It has helped with some of the hair loss.

Good luck!
as it grows, hair also becomes thicker. so there's really nothing major you could do cept wait and let it grow. don't try brushing and combing it as much either. and btw, yea u might want to get that insurance thing checked :)
