Are there any Products out there to combat hair loss?

A friend of mine is only 23 and her hair is literally, falling out slowly. When she wakes up in the morning, its all over her pillow- that sort of falling out. Its really sad as she's perfectly healthy and stunning looking too - its just her family genes. Is there anything to help her? Organic/natural products; lab products; cosmetic products - anything would be helpful.

Thanks. Are there any Products out there to combat hair loss?
Do a Google and an Answers search and you will see there has not been one successful product for hair loss. Some, like Rogaine for women, can have very serious side effects. This safe natural treatment using essential oils has had remarkable results for me and others. It stops loss very quickly and it can force new growth. I Can send you testimonials. I am not a believer in it being determined by genes. My father and two younger brothers suffered early age severe loss. This treatment saved me from same fate.

Massage thoroughly with oil - then brush vigorously using a palm held brush with short natural boar bristles - soft bristled for fine straight hair and stiff bristled for thicker non straight hair (you can find and see on Ebay). Do it so you really feel it stimulating scalp - 90 /100 strokes at beginning building up to more - each day. Will heal scalp and unplug blocked hair ducts that sometimes cause loss - sometimes it causes painful, small, itching spots. A little shedding and breakage may occur at first but quickly stops as brushing makes hair stronger and better anchored. Hair will grow fast, thicker and It will force new growth. Initially new hairs will be weak looking and sparse. Don't be concerned if brushing uproots them as they will re-appear even stronger. My hair has completely regrown on crown. Where receded at front regrowth was slower and sparse at first then each month it became denser. It demands perseverance week in, week out to get the same results.

Loss can be caused by many shampoos - particularly anti dandruff ones - and hair products that contain countless hair, scalp and even health harming harsh and toxic ingredients. Confirm with A Google. Find ';Non harmful shampoos, etc'; with Google searches. Seek those available in stores. Available in GNC, Trader Joes, some Walmart Stores, Cost Plus, Wegmans, Earth Fare, natural %26amp; health foods stores.

I Have had feed back from others. One had substantial regrowth and thickening in just 6 months.

Wish you the best.

I know Lush does a shampoo called New! thats supposed to very good, i love Lush products they're all natural and vegan so she wouldn't be putting nasty chemicals on her head (which is probably not the wisest thing to do if she is already having problems) everyhing else i have tried from Lush has worked brilliantly so i dont see why this should be a any different, its quite cheap and so definutly worth a try.

Also you should probably get her to check with a doctor its not a symptom of something or stress-related, just incase.

good luck to her :)
She needs to go to a dr to make sure there are no underlying causes that can be treated.

Short of that there are 2 FDA approved treatments, only one of which she can use.

Rogaine for woman, it is otc.

Don't waste money on any other treatments. You may find this hard to believe but people will lie to you in order to sell you overpriced items and take your money.

Pattern baldness happens at the same rate in men as in women, the problem is that women lose the hair at the top of their heads and retain a line of hair at their hairline, this makes it easier for them to hide the hairloss (they can just comb hair back over the thin spot, this looks better than the dreaded comb over). So if this is the case she is not alone, her baldness of course may be a worse case senario.
i been using minoxidil for the past 4 months and only starting to see a little hair growing but they are falling too.

im trying nioxin starter kit right now cos they said that it makes hair stronger and wont fall...try to search it and maybe it will help.
