Hair loss/thinning antidepressant side effect?

Apparently, I've learned this is a common side effect and was not disclosed to me by prescribing physician. Burpropion (wellbutrin) causes anorexia as a side effect and a horrible discontinuation syndrome when abruptly stopped as I did. It lasted about a month and that's really when I noticed hair thinning and loss. I want to know if others have this side effect. I checked the drugs on medication.com and atleast 50 people reported this effect. I thought it was dietary/anorexia/decreased food intake side effect and not just another side effect not caused by diet. Has anyone else experienced it from any antidepressants? I finally figured it out that it was the medication and not the decreased food/water intake. I will never take these meds again. I stopped because of severe muscle rigidity and jaw clenching that kept getting worse each day. Thanks for the input..Hair loss/thinning antidepressant side effect?
I actually did do some online research and I discovered that for a lot of women, hair loss is most definitely a side effect of the Wellbutrin,

Some women's side effects are itchy scalp and hair-loss.

I contacted my doctor and she said that yes...hair loss could very well be a side effect.Hair loss/thinning antidepressant side effect?
I've never experienced hair loss with any anti-depressants I've taken, mainly side effects such as aggression or thirst... I have something that might help you though.
yea...wellbutrin was awful for me. I did not experience the hair loss/thinning, but my mother did. I just avoid maoi's completely
