Do I Have A Hair Loss Problem?

For a little less than a year or so, I noticed in the shower, I have been losing a lot of hair. And recently, I have noticed my hairline is longer than average. The hair at my scalp has been thinning a little and my hairline is about 1 to 1 1/2 inches past the scalp (looks like). Since i noticed this, I wash my hair every other day (I use regular Dove Shampoo and Conditioner). What should I do? Is this bad? What do I do to treat this?Do I Have A Hair Loss Problem?
Essential oil scalp treatments are very effective at stimulating new hair growth and restoring hair to a healthy state. Excessive shedding is not normal. This type of hair loss is called telogen effluvium. There are many possible causes. I know how you feel. This is a hard situation as it sounds as though you are concerned. Stress leads to hair loss, so it's a bit of a vicious circle.

I too noticed some hair in the shower every time I washed my hair. It was a shock at first, I tried changing my shampoo and conditioner as I was using the supermarket's own brand (stupid I know). Things got slightly better, but i was still losing. I don't want to go bald. I went to see the doctor and he prescribed a shampoo, which seemed to lessen the loss (not sure whether it was in my mind or not!) but I still lost. I now added a supplement every day, have been doing for the last 6 weeks or so and I have definately noticed a difference. I did a lot of research and found out that by missing vital nutrients from my daily diet seemed to be having an impact on my hair growth.

Maybe you need some supplement like this? Have a look at the link, I hope this helps and good luck.
Paranoia. Sounds like you are at the age that you could possibly be loosing hair, and you see a little bit of hair in the drain and equate it to loosing your hair. Average human looses between 80 and 100 hairs a DAY. If you see hair in the drain it doesnt mean hair loss. If anything, you stressing about hair loss could be causing some hair loss.
I would say not to use chemicals on your hair. Why don't you go for some home remedies. Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for hair loss as well as for healthy hair at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm鈥?/a>
Yes i think you do. If you try using Better conditioners and shampoos that will help you some what.

Hope that helps you out.
Hmmm...how old are you? I'd wash less. My mom loses alot of hair..it could be because of stress. Go see a doctor if you get really concerned.
