Can you talk to your doc about your stress/anxiety? What stresses you out so much? Sometimes just exercise, healthy diet and getting enough sleep can help, but it seems like this really worries you and you're not coping... about the hair, I'd honestly shave my head. No one has to know why you do it!I am 23 years old male.i have sever hair loss problem due to stress and hypertension.?

Teenager with hair loss problem?

Hey, I'm15 and i've been noticing some hair loss on the back of my head. it has less hair than the front. It might be because i put my hair up too much, but i dunno!! What can I do to fix the problem? And also my hair stopped growing for a long time. it stays the same lengths!! my bangs stopped growing also. well atleast i think it did because it used to grow like grass!! help?Teenager with hair loss problem?
Hi, my friend used to have problems with loosing hair. Her doctor said it was because lack of iron. So she started taking iron pills and eating foods with lots of iron . I would start eating more iron and not worry so much or you will lose more hair. If it worsening i would go to your doctor.

Hope i helped =]Teenager with hair loss problem?
usually when ur a teen and is losing hair its stressing to much putting it up to much. when u put rubber bands in ur hair alot it pulls it , hormonal changes, if u r on birth control pills that canbe the reason to, extreme dieting, acne medication, and vaccinations. all of these may sound weird but its true they can all cause hair loss especially for teens. but if none of these apply to u u should ask ur mom to bring u to the doctor just to make sure nothing major iswrong with you because u can never be sure andif u want to find more info i listed a site good luck with trying to find the reason why and i hope its nothing major :) btw im 15 also so i kinda know this stuff cuz i was losing hair to!!
It could be genetics. Taking fish oil pills help with skin, and hair. Trust me, it will grow if you take them. Do some research. Are you taking and meds? If so do some more research, to see if that's causing the problem.

Also wearing the hair up for long periods of time isn't good, let it down. Avoid heat, and eat plenty of fruits/veggies

GL!
I would say not to use chemicals on your hair. Why don't you go for some home remedies. Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for hair loss as well as for healthy hair at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm鈥?/a>
hair loss could be due to a change in eating habits, maybe youre not geting enough nutrients?

also, it can be a result of too much stress which will mess with your hormones

even brushing your hair too much will make it fall out more
Two egg white mixed with two tablespoon of yogurt can be applied for 30 minutes and then washed, when done at least once a week prevents hair loss . Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Someone had said to use nioxin. Agree with them, just know that Nioxin doesn't regrow your hair and it doesn't prevent it from falling out. It makes you and others perceive it is thicker. I've been using it for 4 months now and everyone says my hair looks thicker when in reality it's gotten thinner. Hope this helps!Which shampoo is most recommended to rectify the problem of hair loss?

Does eating oily food cause hair loss problem?

Does eating oily food cause hair loss problemDoes eating oily food cause hair loss problem?
no! it does not causes hair loss! but of course - if you will eat only oily french fries then - yes!! you can lose all your hair and not only hair!

anyway as you know - hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few. but anyway you can always try and get real results.

year ago my husband suffered from hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:

1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

5) also used herbal treatment.in that case Provillus is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for him!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Provillus but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.provillus.com/?aid=749165

It restores hair follicles by blocking DHT!!!

good luck!

not only my and my husband`s own personal experienceDoes eating oily food cause hair loss problem?
It depends on the type of oil or fat contained in the food.

What you'll want to avoid as much as possible is foods fried or cooked in polyunsaturated vegetable oils and especially canola oil. Both of these cooked or not increase 5-alpha reductase enzyme, which catalyzes DHT from testosterone.

Yet coconut oil and palm oil (the once and completely unscientifically maligned tropical oils) lower circulating 5-alpha reductase levels and actually lower DHT.

Naturally it's not easy to avoid the bad oils if you're eating out and it's even more difficult to avoid eating processed foods. So to improve your chances of success you'll need to go further by taking Omega-3 fatty acids to counteract the inflammatory fatty acids.

A large amount of saturated fat (no they are not bad for you) help decrease Lipoprotein(a) is found to be elevated in balding types. A low fat diet actually increases Lipoprotein(a).

Hair loss is more than just the types of fats, it has even more to do with oxidative stress (reactive oxygen species) and the regulation of inflammatory proteins.

Not that I know of. Hair loss is mostly caused by genetics.

  • Hair loss problem it's seem incredible for me! How to solve?

i am 21 years old this year...live healthy, sleep early and have no bad habits such like smoking or drinking! How could i get this problem and how to solve it? Can anyone give me a Best cure solution? please...Hair loss problem it's seem incredible for me! How to solve?
I know what you are going thru'.This really will help - it certainly helped me, in fact it completely cured my hair loss. It's been voted Best Answer by askers(see my profile) and reported to have quite rapid results. It's a tried and tested, very simple, safe, low cost solution. It rectifies all the damage that the hair and scalp has been subjected to by using all the commercial harsh and unsuitable shampoos , and other harmfull products and TOO FREQUENT washing, which denatures hair %26amp; causes premature graying (look up alternatives to washing). Do not use hair dryer.

My hair was thinning rapidly, receding at temples and on the crown in my twenties. This reversed it and made hair grow again - yes, it did really grow back. Use an organic or natural oil - olive, nut or tea tree oil is good and massage it in the hair and scalp either before or after brushing then, using a stiff bristled brush(I found a palm held one the best), quite strongly and vigorously brush hair - at least 40 or 45 strokes. Less if it's too irritating. It really stimulates scalp and heals it, will unplug any hair shaft plugged ducts and reverse other damage %26amp; induce new growth. Protect pillow with old towel and sleep with oiled hair. Do that every other night. Try to expose hair to as much sun as possible, that is really beneficial, a good source of natural vitamins. In about two to three weeks you will see much healthier, thicker, shining hair. Keep up a regime of two times a week after that(not as vigorous and fewer strokes) and it will stay that way. But you must avoid too frequent washing and use only mild, preferably organic tea tree oil shampoo or selenium based shampoo with a few drops of tea tree oil added. I now have a full head of really healthy hair better than it was as a teenager. People think I have had transplants!

Though not essential for cure, entire body health, particularly digestive system matters. Be careful of excessive intake of fats, dairy products, sugars, chocolate, seafood, and peanuts. I follow a whole foods diet with much green leafy vegetables and raw foods. Or possibly take nutritional supplements and Vitamins. Biotin is a B vitamin, helps break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Found naturally in many foods or you can supplement. Food sources of biotin include brewer's yeast, nutritional yeast, whole grains, nuts, Other helpful supplements -Vitamin B complex, especially vitamin B1 and B2 Vitamin A, Omega fatty acids, especially omega-6. I can be emailed - see profile.

DermatologistWhich specialist doc I have to go if I had hair loss problem?
probably a dermatologist. Skin doctor. If you want to get a supplement get any vitamin specifically formulated for hair, nails and skin. this might help the problem and help the severity. Other than that there are many treatments available for hair loss on the shelves at pharmacies in the form of shampoos and other applications
I would consult my internist first and go over all meds you have been taking recently, then if he didn't suggest it , I would talk to someone (a Dr.) about stress, or nerves.

    Hi there,

I had problems with hair loss until I discovered Provillus. I suffered from male pattern baldness which I unfortunately inherited from my dad. It started when I was just 16. I went through that painful process of wasting money and trying all sorts of different products including procerin and rogaine and I finally found provillus. Provillus helped me regrow my hair again, Its amazing. It contains the clinically tested ingredient approved by the FDA to help re-grow your hair. Provillus is available for men and women. If you follow the link provided it will take you to the site where I get mine from. I re-ordered more the other day and I noticed that there are quite a few offers on the product at the moment which I unfortunately missed out on last time! Don’t waste time on the all those other products out there like I did, you might aswell just give your money to charity or something if your prepared to do that, trust me I know! It will change your life like it did mine. You will not be disappointed! How can i get rid of both excessive hair loss and etching problem?
Hair loss and re-growth products have been around for centuries. In ancient times, a variety of herbal and oil-based remedies were concocted and used by Egyptians, Aztecs, Mayans, and American Indians, all with some degree of effectiveness for some people.Modern medical research has focused on ways to re-open and stimulate “dead” hair follicles, so that hair growth can re-occur naturally, as well as keep the healthy follicles healthy. Thus, a number of products have become available, both by prescription and over-the-counter. They are advertised on radio and television and all over the Internet. One need only do a “google” search on hair loss, and there are literally thousands of sites and products for investigation. One ingredient in many hair loss products is minoxidil. Research studies have shown that in about 80% of the participants, products containing this ingredient are effective in slowing hair loss and, in some, causing regrowth to occur. Probably the most well known is Rogaine, available at any drug store, in varieties for both men and women. Most scientifically-produced products do have separate products for males and females, because, of course, hormones in each are different and of different levels. An additional product containing minoxidil is Provillus, and, again, studies have shown it to be effective. The difference between Provillus and other similar products is that the makes have added Azelaic Acid, an additional ingredient which appears to enhance the follicle repair in both men and women. Provillus has been the subject of many studies, just as the other products, and level of effectiveness may be higher. Provillus is available for both men and women, and the treatment is a combination of a topical liquid applied to the balding areas, as well as a pill or capsule to be taken in conjunction with the liquid. The critical key to effectiveness, according to its makers, is the addition of the azelaic acid, however, the correct amount of this acid is most important piece of this treatment. As with most hair loss products, the makers recommend patience. It may take from 3-6 months for improvement to occur, however, there is a money-back guarantee up to 180 days if one is not satisfied that it is working for him/her.Medical research is far from finished in its exploration of products which will stop hair loss and promote regrowth of “permanent” loss. As this research continues, existing producers will undoubtedly alter their products accordingly. Fortunately, a lot of money is being poured into the research, so hair loss sufferers, take heart!

    hair loss is attributed to various problems; stress, nutrient defect, pollution and lot more; consult a doctor, preferably ayurvedic one; my bet would be to use natural remedy as much as possible; also be soft when you wash yr hair; dont rub it too hard; show some concern; eat lot of fibre, like spinach; i know this can really frustrate you; but every problem has a solution;

    good luck, buddy

What could be the reason for my cat hair loss problem?

The vet already does various labs and a biopsy and all results show no explanation for the hair lossWhat could be the reason for my cat hair loss problem?
    Your cat is stressed.

Over-grooming is a stress-related disorder, and can be classified as obsessive compulsive behavior. Self grooming is relaxing to the cat, so it seems quite natural that when the cat becomes stressed it attempts to calm itself down by pursuing a relaxing activity such as grooming. Over-grooming may start out as a result of an environmental change (new member to the household, moved house etc.,) but over time this behavior becomes compulsive, even if the original cause of the stress is no longer around.

This behavior may take the form of excessive licking at the fur or pulling out tufts of fur. The most commonly affected areas are the inside of the thighs, and nearby abdomen and groin.

What should I do if my cat has bald patches?

The first thing you should do is take your cat to the veterinarian. It is important to rule out a medical reason causing either the over grooming or the baldness. There are several medical conditions which can also result in bald patches, such as; hyperthyroidism, allergies (food or inhalant allergies), bacterial pyoderma, fleas or flea bite hypersensitivity, mites, Eosinophilic granuloma complex %26amp; feline ringworm.

Your veterinarian may take skin scrapings from the damaged area(s) to rule out skin parasites %26amp; fungal infections, flea comb the coat %26amp; may perform complete blood testing.

How is over-grooming in cats treated?

Your cat may be put on a trial diet to rule out food allergies.

If the cause is an underlying medical condition or parasitic infection, treatment will hopefully result in the behaviour stopping.

Finding the cause of the stress %26amp; eliminating where possible. This may not always be possible, as has been stated above, the behavior may have started in reaction to a stress, however it has become compulsive behavior now, even though the reason for the original stress may have been resolved.

Keep your cat's day as routine as possible. Make sure you feed, play, exercise your cat at the same time daily. Cats like routine.

Provide your cat a rich %26amp; stimulating environment. If you are out for long periods of time you could consider a cat video or a fish tank for your cat's viewing pleasure. When you are home, set aside a play date with your cat every day.

Drug therapy: If it isn't possible to bring the cat's behavior under control by changing the stress %26amp; environment then it may be necessary to try medications such as anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medications. The goal is usually to give this medication until the behavior decreases, and then gradually taper off the medication.

If you do see your cat engaging in over-grooming behavior don't punish him/her, rewarding this behavior should also be avoided. Both punishing %26amp; rewarding can quite possibly make the problem worse. What could be the reason for my cat hair loss problem?
i have a 10 year old indoor cat who seems to have the same issues. her nick name is ';weezie'; as she is always sneezing and snotty and bald on various places...her entire belly or entire back. she has been to the vets to many times and each time they give me a steroid run and a different test. we have tried every type of hypo allergenic and natural foods, even vitamin supplements, different litter and same thing..., no change. i even use laundry soap free of additives and no one here wears perfumes because that sets her off on a sneezing frenzy!

she does better if i bath her every month and brush her really good every couple days... vacuum the house a lot. (that's for my benefit). we dont pet her, we pat her as the hair just flies out.

as a matter of fact she has an appointment tomorrow, she is really stuffed up and i pulled literally full handfuls of fur (root and all) out of her back this weekend while i groomed her.

she has no stress, no parasites, good care and food ...its frustrating. we have her brother too...no problems ever.

    good luck!
well it could be that the old hair are falling off; its almost like a dog that sheds hair; its happening to my cats.

you might want to try brushing the cats fur with a brush it will make the cat feel better
My cat has this problem. dasiy love is correct. My fur baby is actually his daddy's kitty. Dad left a little over a month ago for deployment. Its his ';relax'; mechanism.
I agree with Daisy love 929. I actually read your whole question and saw where you took you cat to the vet. I sure wish people on here would do the same.

    Andrea
it could be that your cat has a disease or it is shedding badly.i would go to a vet before its to late to know whats wrong with your cat.

Has anyone else had a problem of hair loss after pregnancy? What do to in this case?

I am now 15 weeks post partum after delivering my baby in March. Since the past 5 weeks I have been having hair loss. When I wash my hair, I usually get a rope of hair falling in the tub, and when I comb it, I get a few rope strands. Is this normal after pregnancy, has anyone else had this problem. I have heard it's something to do with the hormones getting back to their old self. Anyone have any advice for what you did, or how long it took for the shedding to stop? I have long hair right now about till the middle of my back. This Saturday I am getting them cut to shoulder length to prevent my hair from thinning as a result. Doesn't this suck?Has anyone else had a problem of hair loss after pregnancy? What do to in this case?
It happened to me, apparently i read it on the net somewhere coz i too freaked out, your body stops losing hair while you are pregnant and about 3 months after you have had your baby all the excess hair starts coming out. Mine stopped when my baby was about 6 months old.Has anyone else had a problem of hair loss after pregnancy? What do to in this case?
yes that sucks. and its normal to lose hair after pregnancy or end of pregnancy!
Don't fear! I had the exact same thing happen. When you are pregnant your hormones are running rampant, and your hair actually gets thicker and grows like crazy.

So after you deliver you don't have those hormones anymore and thus the resultant excessive hair loss ensues.

It will slowly reduce to the normal 100 hairs a day that most people have.

Natural Hair Loss solution is the best !

All those unnatural ways to grow hair with harsh chemicals and by plugging in hair transplants are earning huge corporations billions of dollars and doctors hundreds of thousands of dollars each year.

Why would they be foolish enough to promote something that would cost you less than $15 in grocery store stuff that are able to naturally regrow your lost hair ?

How To Re-grow Your Lost Hair Safely :

Side Effects Of Common Drugs For Hair Loss Treatment :

Minoxidil : Cause a fall in blood pressure, an increase in the heart rate, and weight gain (fluid retention)

Propecia : May cause birth defects in male baby's sex organs if taken by women. Also, potentially irreversible side effects occurring in the group of people taking the drug are erectile dysfunction, ejaculation disorder (decreased volume of ejaculate) and low libido.

A natural approach is consider a more safer way of re-growing lost hair compared to those unnatural ways that may involve harsh chemicals which may cause serious side effects.

    Natural Hair Loss Remedies

Natural Hair Loss Remedies: “Medicine Men” May Have Had Some Answers Before the age of modern medicine and chemical laboratories, healers and medicine men had natural products for hair growth and replacement. Some of thee are still used today with varying results. Strictly speaking, all hair loss products could be considered “natural,” as they are produced from elements found on Earth. For purposes of this discussion, however, a “natural” remedy refers to any ingredient as it is found in nature and not altered or treated in any way before its use. Some people claim success with these methods and products, so it is worthwhile to examine a few of the most popular. ESSENTIAL OILS: These are concentrated oils from certain plants, such as lavender, soybean, and bay. They are massaged into the scalp and are purported to assist with circulation and follicle stimulation.

EXERCISE: Any form of exercise increases and improves blood circulation to all parts of the body, including the scalp. It is believed that increased blood supply to the cells in hair follicles will maintain their health and stimulate hair production.

HERBAL COCKTAILS: (NOT FOR INGESTION): A variety of herbs are recommended, to include Rosemary, Sage, Nettle and Burdock. The advice is to boil them together, strain off the leaves, and wash the hair with the solution every day. JOJOBA OIL: Widely used in Mexico for hundreds of years, it is massaged on the scalp, and many claim it is highly effective in stimulating new hair growth.

LOWERING DHT: DHT is formed when an enzyme in a man’s body acts upon testosterone and is believed to be responsible for the “closing-up” of hair follicles. Provillus shows a lot of prospect and may block DHT production and thus shows promise as an aide for male hair loss sufferers. Homeopathic physicians usually recommend that some of these treatments be used concurrently. Some have had success, but, as in all cases, different bodies respond differently to any treatment. Still, they are worth a try before more expensive methods are considered.

Teenage hair loss is becoming more common. There are many possible causes. The hair growth cycle is very sensitive to changes, imbalances or disturbances. Even a minor imbalance can disrupt the hair growth cycle and cause hair loss. The teenage years require additional care and nutrition to support the tremendous changes and growth that occurs during these years. Unfortunately poor nutrition and unhealthy habits are common during teenage years. This type of hair loss is usually temporary and reversible. Aromatherapy scalp massage treatments made with essential oils can help stimulate hair growth and minimize loss.I m going through a hair loss problem at age of 15 right now. What can i do? Please help. I M RELLY WORRIED?
Thanks a lot, hope its temporary, and i ll visit a doctor soon.

Do these kinds of medicines have good effects and are these effects long lasting. Can some one give me the name of such medicine also.I am feeling problem of hair loss. Do the medicines available in market work?
mostly my curly locks lose lots of hair in the fall. I take b stress complex vitamins and it starts growing hair back also you can buy pre natal vitamins and your hair will grow like crazy. rogaine works very well but once you start it you can never stop so I would wait as long as possible. otherwise go to the dr and get your hormones checked. sometimes when our hormones are on the fritz taking regulating pills will get your hair back to normal. good luckI am feeling problem of hair loss. Do the medicines available in market work?
Well to be honest, hair loss is affected by lots of factors such as hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiency, and some times you inherit it through your parents.

Some Medicines work and some just doesn't, it all comes to the component and how will it react with your body. but in my experience it will not show a noticeable effect only after 4-6 months.

In any case its worth trying the medicine method rather than going the more expensive way which is the hair transplant.

Do I Have A Hair Loss Problem?

For a little less than a year or so, I noticed in the shower, I have been losing a lot of hair. And recently, I have noticed my hairline is longer than average. The hair at my scalp has been thinning a little and my hairline is about 1 to 1 1/2 inches past the scalp (looks like). Since i noticed this, I wash my hair every other day (I use regular Dove Shampoo and Conditioner). What should I do? Is this bad? What do I do to treat this?Do I Have A Hair Loss Problem?
Essential oil scalp treatments are very effective at stimulating new hair growth and restoring hair to a healthy state. Excessive shedding is not normal. This type of hair loss is called telogen effluvium. There are many possible causes. You can find information on female hair loss including possible causes and solutions at http://vzbotanicals.comDo I Have A Hair Loss Problem?
I know how you feel. This is a hard situation as it sounds as though you are concerned. Stress leads to hair loss, so it's a bit of a vicious circle.

I too noticed some hair in the shower every time I washed my hair. It was a shock at first, I tried changing my shampoo and conditioner as I was using the supermarket's own brand (stupid I know). Things got slightly better, but i was still losing. I don't want to go bald. I went to see the doctor and he prescribed a shampoo, which seemed to lessen the loss (not sure whether it was in my mind or not!) but I still lost. I now added a supplement every day, have been doing for the last 6 weeks or so and I have definately noticed a difference. I did a lot of research and found out that by missing vital nutrients from my daily diet seemed to be having an impact on my hair growth.

Maybe you need some supplement like this? Have a look at the link, I hope this helps and good luck.
Paranoia. Sounds like you are at the age that you could possibly be loosing hair, and you see a little bit of hair in the drain and equate it to loosing your hair. Average human looses between 80 and 100 hairs a DAY. If you see hair in the drain it doesnt mean hair loss. If anything, you stressing about hair loss could be causing some hair loss.
I would say not to use chemicals on your hair. Why don't you go for some home remedies. Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for hair loss as well as for healthy hair at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm鈥?/a>
Yes i think you do. If you try using Better conditioners and shampoos that will help you some what.

    Hope that helps you out.
Hmmm...how old are you? I'd wash less. My mom loses alot of hair..it could be because of stress. Go see a doctor if you get really concerned.

I am looking for a good dermatologist in Dubai or Sharjah, for my hair loss problem.?

I have been to two dermatologists in well reputed hospitals but all my efforts have gone in vain. The doctors had no idea what to do !

thank youI am looking for a good dermatologist in Dubai or Sharjah, for my hair loss problem.?
anyway as we know - hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few.

year ago my husband suffered from hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:

    1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

    2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

    3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

    4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

    5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed

It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for him!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.info/why.php

It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

    good luck!

not only my and my husband`s own personal experience

Some medicines can cause Hair Loss . This type of hair loss improves when you stop taking the medicine. Medicines that can cause include blood thinners (also called anticoagulants), medicines used for gout, medicines used in chemotherapy to treat cancer, vitamin A (if too much is taken), birth control pills and antidepressants.

Certain infections can cause loss. Fungal infections of the scalp can cause loss of in children. The infection is easily treated with antifungal medicines.

Finally, loss of hair may occur as part of an underlying disease, such as lupus or diabetes. Since hair loss may be an early sign of a disease, it is important to find the cause so that it can be treated

  • Hair loss problem because of old age?

My husband is 41 years old. I think during this age, hair loss is common for men? Is there still a way to get his hair back?Hair loss problem because of old age?
majority of the cases of hair loss points to the person's genes as the culprit. your husband may be going through male pattern baldness. check his brothers and other relatives. if they're experiencing the same thing and your husband still wants to have his hair back, hair transplant may be the best option.

if it's not in the family, you may want to check what caused it. stress, poor hair care habits, poor nutrition are a few of the possible causes. for natural cures, i'd like to suggest you check http://hairrestorationtalk.com/hair-loss鈥?/a> . it has given good descriptions of possible cures.Hair loss problem because of old age?

    ROGAINE!
Sorry, there's no way to re-grow hair. Any one can grow hair, but it takes a REAL man to suck it back in.

Do you know how to help my hair loss problem?

Female needs advice on thining hair and baldness.(What should i do?)Do you know how to help my hair loss problem?
First off, you need to see a specialist ((a dermatologist handles hair loss)). Second, if you want to get any kind of yahoo answer you have to be specific.

Is it diffuse thinning or patches of baldness? How long has it been falling out? Is there anything you can think of that triggered it?

Any treatment there is that's over the counter for hair loss depends on the type of hair loss you have. Let's look at the routes you could take.

    1. Someone mentioned Biotin. Take a high dosage of that ((5,000 mcg)). It is sold in most vitamin sections and is said to kick start hair regrowth and make it grow faster. This depends on the type of hair loss. If it is female pattern baldness, it may not work.

    2. Rogaine. It's said to work wonders for some but in reality can do more harm than good. It's expensive and causes irritation to the scalp. It's meant to only work on the top of the head and the crown, not on the sides. Once you start using it, it must be used every day, forever. Depending on your type of hair loss, missing a treatment could make all the new hair fall out and take more with it. It could also leave tiny thin little hairs that won't grow.

    3. Nioxin. It's a good shampoo sold at most speciality hair care stores such as Sally's, Master Cuts, Trade Secret, etc. and it can also be found online. It doesn't make your hair thicker and it doesn't make it grow faster but it makes you and others perceive that your hair has grown and it boosts your confidence. It's a pricey line, but not as expensive as Rogaine!

I hope these helped! SEE SOMEONE ABOUT YOUR HAIR LOSS! Good luck! =]Do you know how to help my hair loss problem?
their is a vitamin called biotin which is suppos help hair grow.
my aunt has the same problem its cuz the over processes her hair bleaching it perming it highlight...her hair is really thin now....so if ur doing any of those stop and let it grow for a while and get healthy.. they do have docs. that deal with that kind a thing id look it up..they also have shampoos but i dont know if they do anything she tried and they did not work.

    4. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea.Massage well and shampoo.

I feel very strongly that you have an underactive thyroid. It's actually fairly common, and is easily treated by taking a synthetic thyroid hormone pill (like Synthroid) every morning. Every single one of your symptoms is something you'd experience with low thyroid function, along with things like decreased appetite with weight gain, feeling cold, brain fog, etc. All you need is a simple blood test to check - perhaps a local clinic can give you a script for it?
i agree with #1 but also maybe depression. if you can try something to deal with your anxiety/stress your other symptoms my improve.

can you go to a minor emergency clinic for your blood work or a public health clinic. no public health clinic will help if you have insurance. if you are a veteran a VA hospital can help but that sometimes takes time.

in the mean time try to eat well and exercise to help your stress and anxiety which can contribute to the rest of your symptoms
that's a big problem, but while waiting for a reply you can search in the internet for a cure or visit Outsource Medical Transcription Philippines.
Lola is pretty accurate. Get a blood test for your thyroid.

    FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

    Tension

    Too much work

    Illness

    Poor diet

    Over-exposure to the sun

    Perming

    Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 隆V if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

    Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

    Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

    Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours

    ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

    Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

    Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

    Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

    Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

What can I eat to prevent premature greying?

Eating seafood is possibly one of the best things you can eat to promote all-over hair health. It is rich in zinc, iodine and protein, which are excellent for the hair. So if you enjoy seafood, make it a point to have fish several times a week. Remember that eating canned fish will not give you the same benefits as eating freshly cooked fish. If you don?t eat fish, consider fish-oil supplements.

Iron is good for hair and is found in dark green vegetables, meat and some pulses. If you are unsure about whether you are getting enough iron, include an iron supplement every once in a while in your diet. Remember that too many iron supplements can be bad for you. Women lose iron while menstruating, so perhaps during or after your cycle you can have iron-fortified supplements for a few days.

Eating foods rich in Vitamins B and C will ensure that your hair stays strong, does not break easily, and does not grey early. Pork, vegetables, whole grains, wheat germ, soymilk are all rich sources of Vitamin B, while citrus fruits are excellent sources of Vitamin C. Eating adequate Vitamin C helps increase absorption of iron. Try and have a glass of orange juice daily.

Your hair will never be healthy if you do not drink enough water. Drink at least eight to ten glasses a day.

What oil can I apply to my hair?

Rosemary oil is believed to gradually darken grey hair over a period of time. Soak rosemary leaves along with a few basil (tulsi) leaves, in jojoba oil, for a period of four weeks. Massage your scalp and hair with this oil (after warming it up).

Most oils are not easily absorbed by the hair, which is why you need to leave oil on for at least forty-five minutes. It helps greatly if you steam your hair after applying oil.

Boil dried amla pieces in coconut oil until the pieces turn black and the oil darkens. Apply this oil to the hair. It strengthens hair and prevents greying.

Boil tealeaves in water and rinse your hair with this liquid 20-30 times. Then, leave on for 15-20 minutes before the final rinse.

What else can I do to promote hair health and delay greying?

Washing your hair with very hot water or using hair-dryers excessively weaken roots, and may lead to premature greying. When using a hair-dryer, take care not to point it to your scalp. Similarly, try and wash your hair with cool or lukewarm water.

    Will Yoga help?

Inverted yoga poses bring a rush of blood to the scalp. This stimulates circulation and enhances hair health. Do the following poses regularly:

Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog)

    Sarvangasana

    Chakrasana

Other easy ways to stimulate circulation are:

When you wash your hair, keep switching from hot water to cold water.

Comb your hair regularly. A hundred strokes every night should do the trick. If your hair is curly, use a wide toothed comb
just add about 5-10 drops of rosemary essential oil to a plain (preferably natural) shampoo. that will get rid of the dandruff.

i dunno about the balding though, just shave it all off. then you can massage with olive oil and rosemary daily ( to have nice scalp) and no one will know you are going bald ;)
just go for dandruff treatment in beautyparlour

and vist for hair growth and hair care in

KirtiratnaI am having the hair loss problem please suggest me the proper treatment?
You need to use some kind of conditioner I think..I am having the hair loss problem please suggest me the proper treatment?
Hair transplants involve surgically moving hair from the back of the head, where it does not fall out due to baldness, to the top of the head to give you the appearance of having more hair on top. It is a minor surgical procedure but not with out it's advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of hair transplantation are that it moves your own, permanent hair. No continual treatment is needed to keep it there.

The disadvantages are the high cost (multiple transplants are usually needed to get the desired look or amount of hair), risk of scarring, limited amounts of movable hair, and variable abilities of different doctors and clinics. A scar is left where the hair is removed from the back of the scalp, but this is covered by the hair around it. However, the hair has to be long enough to cover the scar so you can not buzz your hair to a short length and still cover the scar once you have had a procedure. If you like your hair extremely short you should not have a transplant. (Costs can vary tremendously. An estimate would be $2,500-10,000 per session, $10,000 - 40,000 total)

I hope useful for you (^_^)

    http://woman21.blogspot.com/
Not sure of the cost of hair transplant as it varies from place to place. Your hair is what you eat. If you eat correctly and drink enough water, 80 percent of your hair problems are solved. Eat a healthy and a balanced diet rich in protein and minerals. Oil your hair regularly, include a lot of milk, almonds and greens in your diet and drink at least 12 to 14 glasses of water daily. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Hair loss usually occurs when you eighter put ';heat'; on to your hair. For example , if you straighten your hair on a regular basis. Or you use the blow dryer very often. BUY AN OIL TREATMENT %26amp; it will prevent your hair from falling off. Also , if you dye your hair alot and your hair is DRIED TO THE MAX then that might be another reason why your hair is falling out. just get an oil treatment or try hearbs and stuff on your hair ( yeah sounds nasty ) but , it works ;]

I wash my hair with shampoo once everyday, I got a feeling that i might be losing hair. I feel that it might be cause by over-stress or washing too much of hair, i dont know. So I ask ^^Does shampoo-ing your hair too much cause hair loss problem?
shampooing your hair everyday will strip your hair of its natural oils which will cause your hair to dry out. if your hair dries out too much, it could lead to breakage. as far as your hair actually falling out, thats probably from stress. I am 22 years old,I have serious hair loss problem due to over stress & studies.I am taking homeo' treat' sug?

Hair loss- Inviting give suggestion, already taking homeopathy treatment seems no improvementI am 22 years old,I have serious hair loss problem due to over stress %26amp; studies.I am taking homeo' treat' sug?
I am 29 years old with a similar problem. I have been diagnosed with a panic / anxiety disorder and found that a combination of traditional and modern medicines work for me. Starting out with the traditional, being Buddhist, I meditate and do proper breathing techniques to calm my mind. Secondly, I have reduced or eliminated my stimulant-intake (coffee, tea, soda, energy pills, energy drinks, cigarettes), and I try as best as I can to regiment my sleep schedule (Valerian Root or Melatonin are good herbal remedies that help). Thirdly, I take an herbal remedy for anxiety and I am noticeably calmer and more relaxed. Look up ';Saint John's Wort.'; It really works for me.

As far as the modern medicine aspect goes, I still see a doctor that prescribes me medication but because I have been working hard to reduce the stresses in my life my dosages are much lower than they use to be.

I hope this helps you. Peace.I am 22 years old,I have serious hair loss problem due to over stress %26amp; studies.I am taking homeo' treat' sug?
    * To stop any more hair loss, stay away from doing such things as dyeing, perming, and straightening your hair.

    * If losing your hair is very upsetting for you and causing anxiety, you may want to talk to you doctor about whether you can try something like Rogaine, which is a medicine that helps your hair to regrow.

    * Since stress can make hair loss worse, try to reduce stress and anxiety in your life.
I'm 40 and have had a receeding hairline for some time now. My suggestion is to let nature take its course. Many women find bald or balding men attractive and say that it makes them look more mature and intelligent.

    I wouldn't sweat it.
    Try yoga...just for the stress

I don't know how many times I have looked for the best solution to hair loss on the internet? How much money have I lost to hair loss scams? I know there is a true product out there that will regrow your hair for real and it is not harmful to you like the drugs that say they regrow hair. Can I ask you a question? What would you like to put on your head, man made chemicals or natural ingredients.

Now natural ingredients are the best way to go. I can speak with experience because I use this product as well with great results. Really the secret to this best solution to hair loss is the active ingredient named Minoxidil. If a hair growth product does not have this in it, I will not work. Minoxidil has been approved by the FDA as a proven hair growth product.

If you start using this natural hair growth product you should start seeing results in one month. I did and I was amazed to see my natural hair growing back. Can you imagine seeing that bald spot getting covered with your own hear! This really is a great and safe product to regrow hair.

Male Pattern Baldness (MPB) is a genetic trait that is carried down from your family. It's called Androgenetic Alopecia. It's inherited but can be treated with the right product. So there is really no reason to let your bald spot get worse, stop the hair loss and grow it back with a great natural hair growth system.

Also there is a hair growth product to the lady also, so don't feel like we did not think of you, it's amazing! Check out the source below for more info. How should i manage my hair loss problem i feel bad please help me please?
You should see a dermatologist who will help you solve your hair problems. He/she will probably give you a special shampoo for your hair. Good luck!

Go to any Chinese shop where they sell herbs, teas and stuff like that, and ask for a hair-growing trio: pills, balsam and shampoo. It might be pricey, but it sure is worth it. Some stores sell the so-called ';101'; brand; that one's the best. If you can't get that one, get an alternative. Just make sure that you're getting hair growth products, not hair improvement or anything like that. I also heard that acupuncture helps grow hair, as well as 5-minute scalp massages with your fingers in circle-like motions after you wake up and just before bed. Good luck!I have hair loss problem, kindly guide the natural way to improve the hair growth?

a homoeopath would be able to advise you honestly. there is usually something lacking in your body and they have the means to detect what it might be and correct it.

they are shunned by the medical institutions because they actually cure your ills as opposed to the pill pushing medical doctors. How can I rectify My hair loss problem.I need some home made suggestions and tricks?
There are no homemade remedies that will work. My son was losing his hair and I took him to an MD who practices integrative medicine. She did a thyroid and hormonal panel and found all of his levels were fine. She recommended some supplements, but the one that works the best is Beta-Sitosterol. You can get it online at places like Vita-Cost. It stopped his massive hair loss and based on what I've read, we should actually see some hair regrowth in a few months. How can I rectify My hair loss problem.I need some home made suggestions and tricks?

Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.In dandruf and hair loss problem which edible oil is better to use for food 1) coconut 2) groundnut?
3 and 4. They moisturize the hair down to the cuticle the most, but if you want to grow your hair, oil will clog the pores and prevent hair growth, so make sure you wash it out well. Leave in hair for an hour.
olive oil willl your best choice hun

What about laser therapy in hair loss problem ?

Hey there I'm a woman losing her hair and I use thickening shampoos but I have heard of laser does it do anything? been watching videos on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWuqsWfuzUI

is this a scam or does it work? What about laser therapy in hair loss problem ?
Pulica don't listen to Greg, he's spamming and promoting a scam product.

As I replied to your husband, the principle behind the laser comb is correct, but it's not worth the money!

You need her to get more blood circulating to the scalp, and she can do this with natural and effective EXERCISES.

I found a book that teaches you how to exercise your head, and they really helped me a lot,.

I'm now even growing my hair back.

This is not a scam, I tried this on myself and DEEPLY suggest it to anyone!

Removing all the tensions and contractures from my scalp was amazing, too.

The psychological relief I managed to achieve with these techniques is also PRICELESS.

They have two chapters on free download and nine free videos that come with the full book.

I'm promoting this because it really works. :D

    All the best,

MattWhat about laser therapy in hair loss problem ?
A very low level laser therapy system has been used all over the world, for a variety of ailments, with no reported toxic effects or any other visible side effects. Recently laser treatment is being employed as a source of treatment for preventing hair loss in some advanced countries of North America and Europe. Hair loss treatment by using laser emitting hand held devises are known to provide some accurate cure for ordinary hair loss problems. Being well known for its efficiency and ease of use, this devise is also called “laser Comb” in its commercial avatar.

These hair loss laser treatment devises are hand held and prescribed for use many times in a month to attain positive benefits of preventing hair loss and infusing hair growth. Though the cost at the moment is quite high, it may become cheaper as more people start using this devise. Preliminary user’s experience suggests us that it has really improved the appearance and thickness of the hair. It needs to be used over a period of one year to see visible improvements. Handheld lasers devise works by emitting a low intensity nourishing light on to the scalp, to provide energy and improve circulation to the impoverished hair follicles. The cold laser beam will stimulate the scalp and hair follicles to absorb more oxygen and nutrients, so that they are better equipped to create more hair. This devise is recommended for usage at least 4 times a week and with a sustained bombarding with light.

Whatever may be the advantages of this devises are, one thing is absolutely certain: at the moment it is very costly and people will not able to experience the positive aspects of this devise in the near future. It may take a while for the prices to come down, so that many people can start using them to cure their hair loss. Hair loss laser treatment is still in its infancy and needs a thorough clinical data to back up the claims.

Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day. Vinegar has 93 vitamins and minerals so your hair will stop following out and grow long and strong.
Yes, you can grow fuller and thicker hair without implants or surgery. There are many reasons for hair thinning and hair loss, including your hair care products, lifestyle, and styling techniques. If your diet is laden with fats, alcohol, sugars, and junk foods, you are actually inhibiting your hair’s ability to grow. If you buy most, if not all, of your hair care products from traditional stores, you are most likely buying a hair-damaging useless product. Most hair care products, including most of those that claim to be “all-natural,” contain synthetic emulsifiers and harsh detergents, such as Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Phosphates, and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Unfortunately, these products are loaded with toxins and chemicals that actually dry and strip your hair of vital nutrients it needs to grow.

You have to attack hair loss on the inside and the outside. A great hair growth regimen has three necessary components: a healthy eating plan, substantial water intake, and a high quality hair growth and hair care product.

Step One: Buy a High Quality Hair Growth Product

I suggest you go all-natural. Unnatural hair care products are a no-no for someone who wants long-lasting, healthy hair growth. Find a hair growth product that contains powerful essential oils, natural herbs, and vitamin rich nutrients your hair needs to survive. Look for products with ingredients such as: Aloe Vera, Citrus Fruits, Jojoba, Rosemary, and Sage. Make sure you stray away from all natural products that use natural extracts. Extracts are not as powerful as essentials oils. They are a cheap substitute for the real thing. Although there are several natural hair care products on the market, not all hair growth products are created equal. Make sure you read the fine print. Most “natural” products still contain phosphates, sodium lauryl sulfate, petroleum, mineral oil, and other lab created humectants that ultimately damage your hair. My advice---if you can’t read the ingredients, don’t buy the product. When I was searching for a natural hair growth product, I found one really great buy, Beauty 4 Ashes Super Hair Growth System. Finding this company took me awhile; but Beauty 4 Ashes pretty much gives you everything you need to make your hair grow. Foremost, I checked the ingredient listings and the products contained no artificial ingredients. The system also included hair growth vitamins, a great hair healthy eating plan, and even scalp stimulating hair growth exercise routine. At first, the system may seem a bit pricey, but, boy was I impressed with the results. In 9 months, I went from patches of hair to hair just above my shoulders. Now, I am no product junkie; but I have to tell you that this product is worth the money. It does not cost an arm and leg and it is worth every penny you pay. You can find it easily at www.discoverb4a.com. Also, check for it on Ebay. You may actually find a deal.
