Does putting a lot of gel lead to hair loss in the future? if so, will you go bald?

cause i put a lot of gel and my friends keep telling me that i will go bald when im 20 years old.Does putting a lot of gel lead to hair loss in the future? if so, will you go bald?
I have never heard anything relating to hair gel contributing to hair loss and would be really surprised if it did.Does putting a lot of gel lead to hair loss in the future? if so, will you go bald?
I have been a hairdresser for 14 years and never heard of that. look on your mother side of the family, if your mothers father is bald chances are that you could be as well .
No but it does lead to an excess in bacteria and fungi growing on your scalp which effects and damages the hair and can lead to hair damage and breakage, and leaves gung on the shower floor! the greasy look isnt nice and your already worried about it so use this oppurtunity to break the habit and slow down with the wax
As long as the gel is water base I think it wouldn't do any harm in your scalp. going bald has something to do with your genes if one your parents or grand parents were bald chances are you will inherit it, especially for males.
